Violence and school

The Friday before school started marked the first day the kids started to go insane. They started hitting each other, kicking, scratching, biting. Their attitudes have been horrendous. I’ve started sitting them in a room with their heads down until they are quiet. Which apparently takes them as really long time. I don’t understand why as soon as school started they started being weird. I hope they get their act together soon.
